2010 GT stormy blue with everything but rear ent.

Not sure if I got the best deal, but I was pretty happy with my sales experience at Manhattan Mazda. Picking up the car Wed. and will post pix then.

Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all!

Now that you got it, forget about the deal.
Look forward. Enjoy the CX9.
Welcome.

Welcome,

Somewhere around $500 below invoice with 0% rate for 5 years is a fair deal (gossip)

I got mine for the invoice. (spank)

But how does that work out. Isn't invoice the bottom line of what the dealer gets the car for? The dealer told me that invoice is what they pay for the car and they couldn't do anything under that. I was keeping firm at 34K but I left paying invoice at 0% but they gave me 6 free oil changes.

How can a dealer sell a car below invoice, wont they lose money. I would only understand that if they needed to move the car to make room for new vehicles coming in.

Not complaining, I just want to understand this entire invoice pricing thing.

PS. My dealer even purchased and installed the 22" lexani rims and tires I wanted to put on the car and they allowed me to finance them at 0% too. (guitar)

Because for every CX9 the dealer sell, they get back $1000 from Mazda if the customer pay cash. Or with 0% finance, the dealer get back $500 from Mazda. They should pass on this incentive to the customer.

invoice - holdback (2~3%) - cash rebate => closer to dealer's real cost.
They make more money when you buy ANYTHING with the finance guy (warranty, fabric guard, underpan coating, maintenance contract, etc.)

In general, it does not matter what the real cost to them is, it is what kind of deals are possible in your area that really matters. Just send e-mails to all your nearby dealers (internet managers) and ask for a quote. Let them compete a bit, and pick the best among all.
Oh, say NO to anything the finance guy wants to sell you.

I get mine Tuesday!

I am picking up my new CX-9 Touring on Tuesday (April 27).

Stormy Blue (please bring back a charcoal or similar color)
Bose, Moonroof, power liftgate, roof rack

Just need to install a hitch and get some steel wheels for the winter tires.
