Hi, just introducing myself, purchased an 09 Mazda5 this weekend. I do a lot of my own mechanical work whenever I can so these forums are invaluable.

With an 09, you should be free from repairs for awhile. Count on doing the #3 motor mount by the drive belt and perhaps shocks and struts. Most of the other bugs had improved over 3 years of manufacture.
