If you have not filled out your customer service satisfaction survey yet, you can tell them you're not happy with the misleading info and that they survey will reflect it.
This may not do anything, but some dealerships take that survey so seriously, they might offer you some kind of "consideration: -- I have no idea what, but you've got nothing to lose.
I'm
not blaming you, but this is a good reminder to us all of THE No. 1 rule in buying a car:
Never, ever take the salesperson's word for anything that you cannot either A. see absolutely for yourself, and/or B. get from him in
writing (better yet, from his manager).
I'm not even saying this because they lie. Most don't, intentionally, at least. But they sell so many models with so many different features that they can't always keep the stuff straight.
Some also do their homework a lot better than others.
But they all have just one goal -- to sell you the car. So if you ask about something that you seem to care about, and they are not sure of the answer, the bias is for them to say "yes" to keep you moving toward the purchase, or to keep signing the paperwork.
