Could anyone tell me what a good price for a p5 would be? and the insurance cost? i'm a 16 year old guy living in canada.

i'm from Kingston Ontario Canada, HOLY s*** 2000 bucks a year?!?!? DAAAAAAMNNNNNNN, anyways, how much is a good p5 going for these days? any chance i can get it secondhand?

That's at the dealer though, I think private owner is your best bet. Alot of soccer moms picked up P5's. They are the ones you want to buy from.

riiight okay, that's cool..... hmmm how do you purchase a car? like monthly payments or jus all up front...... i want a manual 5spd and i wanna turbo charge it, how much are is that kit just for the p5?

Most folks cant afford to buy the whole thing, so you finance either through the dealership or through an independent bank.

Kits for the protege start at just under 3k (spool) and go up to 5k.

yeah i guess that's reasonable for a 100hp boost to the wheels, umm, what is short shifting? i hear it all the time, is it a method of shifting that's supposed to make you go faster?

are you kidding me? you are 16 years old? can you even legally buy a car in canada at 16, because you have to be 18 here...jesus...do a search before you ask all these silly questions

EDIT - i just realized how rude that looks, but seriously, every question you asked has been discussed just in the last WEEK because everyone keeps asking the same damn questions!

yea i understand, i jus joined like, 3 days ago, so i apologize if i ask stupid questions, can u link me to stuff bout shortshifting?

I think you're really going to want to co-sign with one of your parents. Considering you have probably zero credit at this point in your life, they're going to absolutely kill you with interest on your payments. The best way to find out how much P5's are going for in your area is the newspaper. Obviously, you will pay more than advertised, but it's a good place to start your bargaining. It's no good asking people from different areas because pricing can vary quite a bit.

welcome to the board, and either go to performance section, or use the search button at the top and type in short shifter

I'm paying $2800 insurance fee a year.
And I couldn't cover the damage of my car with insurance cuz it would even go up if they know i had an accident.
