K Dawg ONE,

I am already going to update the Protege Tech website (www.protegetech.org), better watch out, BIRIT will be featured complete with details.

Ron, one word of advice if you can get hold of the original MazdaSpeed stuff for your Ride, GET THEM ! :D

ohmme..i want the chrome one like the original one like the mazda ones...the ones here has a black background...and kinda like a sticker..type...if i cant get it ill put the one for the new mazdaspeed and protege..check out the other sites here u will see what im talking abt..later..i ned to sleep have to get up in 2 hrs...hahahha...zoom zoom

tease...this is the sticker i have on my fender...im using as my logo here...if u see another one like this here ill take mine off..hahaha....just kiddin..its coming down...as aoon as i get my mazdaspeed side markers...

ohmme..on your interior..does it come in blue..i dont think my car fits well with red..i want to keep my original seats and just take off the existing cloths and ref it a new one....will that work u think...later..i really need to rest..lol

Your Idea will work, I think it's better if you shift to another color range, so your interior will stand out. This is just my opinion your paint does not much the color blue interior I guess you choose a lighter shade. Keep in mind your colors must be consistent, to give that stunning look, in car shows mostly they look how you match your interior to your exterior.

holy crap.....!!!!!!!!! is that front bumper the one he was talking about that a-toy designed? i like that way more than the 97-98 one i was looking at... especially if i can finally get those clear turn signals..... andy please let us know about the bumper turn signals and projectors..... i know i at least am very interested in prices and how soon we can get them... what did andy do with his old rear spoiler?

the kit that was used by andy is in http://www.bodykitsunlimited.com mazda section, black familia although i believe it was heavily modified to andy's specs..his old spoiler in his house i think along with his other front spoilers, bumpers, side skirts, rear skirts, headlights, and trunk. ready for any occasion! :p

Hey! Thanks for posting your pics Caloyski. I took the kit from Options Unlimted kit as it seemed logical to start on a base kit that already fit the gen 2. I got it 50% off too since I would be using it for the show (a common practice here when joining a show, sort of sponsorship). Instead of starting out from scratch it made perfect sense to start with something that we knew would fit. Andy Cheng, owner of Options Unlimited is a good friend of Atoy who owns A-toy Bodykits.

The transformation of the body kit except the hood, trunk & projectors took an entire month. The car was first taken to Options Unlimited for the body kit install. That took almost a week. Then it was moved to A-toy's fiberglass shop for the modifications I wanted done. Unfortunately, due to lack of time it wasn't completed. It spent another week there where I gave step by step instructions to the craftsmen on what to do. The front bumpers center lip was recessed. The flarings were added and side skirts modified for continuity of the flarings. A side vent was introduced and was designed in such a way that it blended with the original mouldings. The rear bumper was modified to have side vents and the lower spoiler on the wing was trimmed out for a leaner look.

What didn't make it were the fender vents, side bumper vents and 2 piece rear bumper where fins were supposed to be used and not vents.

The hood, trunk and projectors were done months ago. The dark gray hood and wing aren't carbon fiber but carbon "look". A quick look and it fools untrained eyes.

Well, we won 3rd place Asian Heavy Modified Division. 1st was a Civic with airbrush graphics and scissor doors (also on A-toy's teem) 2nd was another Civic with a plexiglass hood. Not bad considering mine was an original design and not something you could buy off the shelf.

andy would there be any chance that atoy will make at least the front and rear bumpers and projectors available for sale? i am totally in love with the front and rear of your body kit..... i really want to make my car show ready and i love the front and back of the kit you had designed and those projectors are what i've wanted for almost a year.... and seeing them done and on your car is amazing

The front and rear bumpers are available un-modified from options unlimited, www.bodykitsunlimited.com

see attachments of the base kit and compare to my modifications.

Projectors will be available, I have yet to find out the cost

I'm in the signage business, I just had my plastic sign maker mold me the lens. The material is a prismatic fluorscent light cover that has a honeycomb design that's not so different from other lenses. This & the projectors aren't so difficult to ship there. It's the body kit that's a problem.

well i'm willing to pay what it takes to ship them here... it must be possible because i know people have had kits from there and japan and other places shipped here

Andy,
Please let us know how the lenses fair after being in the sun/rain, etc...
I know people who have made clear bumper lenses for their 95/6 out of the same material and they have eventually yellowed on them...
Keep us updated!

Right, I completely forgot about the elements... I guess because the car isn't a daily driver anymore. I'll see if we can test them for that. I'll expose the material to the outdoors for a continous period and see how it fairs... Glad you brought that up Kris.
