So has anyone tried to run the MS6 MAF sensor in a blow threw set up? Alot of the EVO and STi guys run their cars like that and make tons of power. Hell i even have my little brothers MSP with the MAF on the pressure side and it runs like a champ. Quicker throttle response, less lag, and the abillity to run a VTA BOV without the hassel of backfiring or stalling.

You're talking about putting the MAF post BPV on the cold pipe, right? VTA without screwing with metered air?
I like the idea, but I don't have enough experience to know if it's feasible on our cars. It doesn't seem like the MAF sensor would like post-turbo air, but maybe you could tune for that?

well when i put the MAF on the pressure in my MSP it didnt need a tune, but it worked better with a tune. i think that when i go with an FMIC im going to try and switch it to the pressure side.

any input or advice will be apriciated.

Yes it has been done. Of the two I know of, one has had no problems, and the other has had to replace the sensor a couple times.

could you tell us more of the one person whos car is running fine? is he on these forums? do you have any contact info on him/her so i can ask a few questions?
