Here are the pics of the used MSP I bought yesterday with 28,130 miles. A few of you were asking to see what kind of changes were made. I looks like they tried to make a sleeper...Who knows.. I will just put 3 per page.. Let me know what you see wrong and what you see right. I have no clue what I am looking for or at. Your not gonna hurt my feelings so blast away.

I think the ES wheels are a little lighter... Not as nice as the OE MSP ones, but lighter is a good thing.

looks like you have the mazda speed muffler too, i had one on mine, sounds great. there are a few people around me sellin the msp wheels, lemme know if you want a set ill get you intouch with them

It is a MSP not a ES..lol but someone took the wheels and changed spoilers for some reason.

Looks nice, almost like mine in winter mode. I kind of like the ES spoiler on there. The ES wheels are definantly lighter, when I took off my MSP's with summer tires and put on the ES with snows they were a lot lighter.

ya it looks like everything is stock except for the spoiler and rims......... the es spoiler does not look bad imo but u need either stock msp rims or some aftermarket ones!

The badges on the trunk lid have been changed aswell.

The previous owner cut off the muffler tip and welded on that bad one.

I noticed the shift knob is wrong too, plus it has a dead pedal.

whats wrong with that muffler? obviously theres no tip but is that REALLY a mazdaspeed muffler? the shift knob has also been changed. from what i can tell its a mazda3 shifter knob but the pic is far from the knob so i cant be for sure. The previous owner also added the third foot rest (or whatever its called), the little plate to the left of the clutch. and of course they didn't just change the wing, they switched the whole trunk because you dont have the mazdaspeed badge in the rear. man...........id be pissed. but as long as your happy and she runs good. just for s**** can you take a pic of directly behind the tire so we can see the springs and struts to verify that the suspension is right?

I am not pissed Because I think It looks just fine to me and it runs great. The Shifter is just a plain black bulb.

I'll probably start looking for the Stock parts eventually and it will give me something to do

ON the Muffler I crawled under ther car and I dont think its cut. The entire muffler looks to be welded really good and it appears fairly new. Anyone live Cclose that can do a real once over?..lol

I am freaking scared to take any more pics now..You might say DAMN that suspension is F'D up and not even a MSP one..lol just kidding i appreaciate your help at least I know whats going on. Ill get one of the suspension.

See how it says Racing Beat? That's the correct muffler. Who knows what else is changed on your car.

EDIT: Whoops, you can't see it in that picture.. But the muffler is shinny and has the Racing Beat logo on it.

I see it.. I dont think the Muffler is the same as the one you have pictured at all. Mine is more round where yours is oval. Who the hell knows..

yours shouldbe different than his. he has a 03 and you have an 03.5. im not trying to discourage you or anything. i just think it sucks that someone did that to what was once such a nice car..............heres my theory. that car probably had nice rims and a cf trunk or possible a trunk with the ww wing on it. he probably parted out the stock rims and stock trunk w/wing long ago and whenever he was going to sell it decided to sell off all the aftermarket parts to make some extra dough. he probably traded for stock parts + cash. at least thats what makes since to me. did you get your prod # yet? maybe the previous owner was on here, that could explain some things. the shift knob is no big deal. a lot of people i know (including me) get an aftermarket one anyways. maybe they didn't like the stock one.

It really doesn't bother me all that much. I was just looking for a nice car to drive that had a little bit of balls and still got good gas milage. As long as it dont blow up on me I will be happy! I still think its a nice car.
