why not ask....what is the worst they can say? NO? you aren't out anything but an email.

(beer)
I think I know the commercial, but I don't know who sings that version of the song. (the one with twins, right?) It IS, however, a very cool remake of a Tom T. Hall song, if that gets us any closer.

Just don't ask me how I know that.

I saw that....my response wasn't actually directed to you....more of a general statement....

this goes for ANY question of that nature....you can't be afraid of someone telling you NO. for if they do...you are only right at the same place you are now, and have lost nothing...you only have something to gain by asking.

Not to mention.....think about what you have done by sending in that mail.....SOMEONE actually gets that stuff and reads it....SO, even if they don't answer it...you KNOW that somewhere out there someone got a good laugh...and probably forwarded it around their office with a subject line of something like " look at this wacko's request! " LOL soooooooooo if nothing else...you may very well have put a smile on someones face...lightened their day....and gave them a laugh.

:{D

Re: Coors Mail (JDC)

Dear Brian:

Thanks for your e-mail. We are always interested in hearing from our consumers.

We're happy to hear that the 'Love Songs' commercial caught your eye! We're excited about the new ad campaigns for all of our products.

The lyrics for 'Love Songs' were written by our ad agency, Foote Cone & Belding, based on a parody of a song written by Tom T. Hall. A studio band performed the song.

We have other great news! The studio musicians who performed for the commercial have formed a group called Sub 16. Sub 16 will be releasing a CD sometime in the fall through Helium Records. Watch for it! We hope this information was helpful.

that is cool....they actually responded and in deed answered your question with the information....

I once did this about an Eclipse add and NEVER EVER heard a single word back....really pissed me off. later I found the answer to my question HERE on this board.

Why on earth would you want free Coors??

I understand the free beer part of it, but Coors isn't even good. I've been to the brewery, it ain't that great. (doh)

And to answer the question, yes they give you beer samples at the end of the tour if you are of age...

You wrote to us inquiring about the possibility of receiving free beer for

your request. However, we have arranged for you to receive a complimentary
packet of logo items from Coors. You should anticipate receiving it in five to
seven business days. Enjoy!

If you have other questions or comments, please contact us again either by
e-mail at consumers@coors.com or by calling the Coors Consumer Hotline:
1-800-642-6116. We are available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Time, and the
staff will welcome your comments.
