Any thread promoting sofware piracy is out of line in my opinion.

Anyone bitching about the price of Microsoft Windows has never experienced the world of Software Development. Piracy is one of the factors that leads to outsourcing and hard working American programmers and engineers loosing their jobs to foreigners. The money goes towards R&D (research and development) as well as numerous charities that the Gates foundation donates to.

It is completely out of line to complain about the price of Windows when I have already stated there is a FREE solution to your problem.

I love how you make it sound like you are a charity case for not being able to afford Windows. For the cost of the installation of your window tint in your sig, you could have a legit copy. No one on this thread will suggest you break into your Mazda dealership to steal that MSP exhaust so why should we tell you how to pirate software?

we all know piracy is going to be a never ending issue, so its nothing to argue over. if you go by the book and buy your products, more power to ya. if your a pirating captain, more power to ya. ( argh! ) as i am a pirate myself. basically, im too poor to pay for windows or any other application, i spent enough building my computer. id run linux but its a horrible all around home operating system. now, to get back to the topic. if you pirated a copy of windows xp professional, its not gonna update without problems. you need windows xp corporate edition to avoid that issue. so in other words, gank a copy from work, or learn how to access news groups or irc, or get a copy from a friend.

IRCspy makes the world go round. I got my XP pro to work fine.. hopefully Bill Gates dosen't strike me down from on high... but for now, everything's nice n happy (eekdance) . I kinda taught myself to use IRC, before i found out about IRCspy.. but I never really got into it that much. The weird guy down the hall used it to find out where and how to get the stuff to make Fake IDs (sssh) .. pretty crazy if you ask me. (for the record he never made more than 1, just for kicks, but that one turned out damn nice)
