I installed the Greddy Profec B Spec II and it doesn't seem to work, i checked all the connections and everything is plugged in. I followed the how-to and mine is exactly the same. Does anyone know how to fix this or did I get a defective controller. My car at the moment is stock and I can't see that that's my problem. Any help anyone can give me would be great.

you have to explain a little more, i can help but what exactly is not working? is the unit not turning on? you cant increase the boost? be more specific than just saying its not working..

I apologize for not being more clear. I followed the settings library found on this forum. So I set my controller to

Set: 21%
Gain: 10
Set Gain: 42
Warning: 10.0 psi
Limiter: 45%

Now these are what the general crowd was running for 10 to 12 psi, I thought It'd be a good starting point. But I found that my car would not boost past the stock levels of 6.5-7 psi. The main unit comes on when I turn on the car, and the boost gauge works to. I am unsure of whether or not the valve unit i working or not. Did by chance not get installed correctly or am I not doing something right. Any help I would appreciate.

turn the warning up. when the controller sees that you are boosting 10psi it decreases it by 45%. Try turning it up to 15psi (or 25psi like me :) )

Yo check to make sure you connected the valve to the right port on the solenoid. It's a common mistake to put it on the wrong outlet.

I checked and double checked the connections and they are: from the wastegate acuator to the "COM" port on the valve unit and from the valve unit labeled "NO" to the line that the wastegate went to (not sure what line it plugged into). I will try the limiter setting and write back. Thank you.

Try these settings and increase from there:
18% Set
38% Gain
50 Start Boost
99 Limiter
120 Warning

Hit the Hi/Lo switch after you start the car to clear the factory preset warning.
Check for any kinked vac lines.

Well, I went and played around with my settings and what I am at now is

Set: 38%
Gain: 35%
Set Gain: 60
Warning: 25psi
Limiter: 0%

To me, these settings seemed to be high compared to what everyone else is running. So it does work but, what is happening now is when I floor the throttle, the psi goes up to the 10 - 11psi range and then drops right down to the 4 - 6psi range, hanging around 5psi usually, but if I creep up to full throttle it will hold more consistenly and not drop down in psi as much. I am unsure if this is fuel cut or not, because the only noticeable difference in the performance is the psi drop. So my controller does work, however there a lot of bugs to work out. Again, I appreciate the help guys. Thank you.

Also remember you have to hit the hi/lo button every time you start the car and set it to whichever one you have your settings on, otherwise it won't boost past factory boost.

I have mine set at
26% wastegate
15% gain
85 start boost
warning 100
and 20% limiter.
It works off percentages for the wastegate. the start boost if you have the unit in PSI is in PSI. 85 is equilivent to 8.5 PSI. This will help you hold boost. The warning is in PSI, so 100 is equivilent to 10.0PSI. With this setup I hit 9.8 and hold 9.5 steady depending on outside temperature. And yes temperature does make a difference. On a 90 degree day I have to turn the big knob up 2% to hit the same boost as a cool night.

Thanks you guys. You've been a big help. I will keep playing with the controller and report back if I have any problems.

Keep on Boostin'!!(burnout)
