Help with electrical

I was driving the interstate the other day with the cruise on all of a sudden my gauges quit working along with my cruise control and to add my dome light no longer works with the door pin??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. I saw a a post from 2005 with the same problem on another board but no on ever responded>>

Sounds like a blown fuse.

First thing i checked but all checked good don't think that would cause issues with the dome light.. thanks though

If the fuses are good it is most likely a loose or bad ground connection or a short in a wire.

Do you have anything tapped into the dimmer switch wiring? The pervious owner of my car had something tapped into that and it eventually broke through and caused all my lights not to work.
