HELP-Whistle sound from engine bay

i had that same freakin noise start 2 days ago, dammit!

I had she same sound on my car it ended to be the wastegate actuator diaphgram that was defective! I recognize the loud whistle sound! Don't look for anything else!! that's the problem!! Take it to the dealer if is still under warranty, they will replace the actuator for free with an upgraded one!!

are we talking its free if you are under warranty (i am not) or are we talking free because of the service bulletin ?

exhaust manifold bolts are loose i got a whole new turbo set up b/c of it!

I do not have a guage installed on the car. I found that if I pintched the vacume line that goes to the BPV and Wastegate the sound stops. I wonder if I am running more boost because of the leak

Your wastegate is bad! The wastegate has a small hole in the housing used to relieve pressure on the back side of the wastegate diaphram. The heat from the turbo kills this diaphram and the whistle you hear is from this hole. Replace the wastegate accuator and the problem should be fixed! My car did the same thing but it threw a PO171 CEL and the idle dipped real bad. Its not a hard fix just takes a little time.
