In oklahoma and texas (both fo these verified by officers of each state, as long as the bulb is emitting the same color of light as its supposed to stock then it legal, kind of like clear euros are legal as long as the brake lights have a 2 stage red bulb in them, such as clear side markers are legal as long as they emit an amber light.
