Help on installation!!

Hey guys,( i did run a search ) I'm trying to connect the stock 6-disc cd HU to a pioneer gmx332 amp and a pair of JL xr525cxi. Ok my dilemma. How the hell do you take out that carbon fiber dash thing? I got it out a ways, but it seems like its still stuck to the temp control thingymajig. After that how would you take the HU out? Ok my main question is, i did manage to get a peek at the back of the HU and no RCA. So how would I go about using the speaker level connection on the amp to connect the speakers? I've never down this stuff before, so I hope I'm making sense. All the stuff was hand me down from my bro. I plan on putting the speakers up front, and I was able to take the fr door panel off. If anybody went this route, please help me out. Thanks.

don't need to pull the whole piece off.
just bend a coathanger as prescribed in the audio FAQ. it's really easy. If you still think that you MUST pull off the surround (you shouldn't have to for anything) then check zapwizard's how-to for changing dash-lighting.

y'kno what, nevermind that I guess it's not there anymore. I don't know why our info section is so ghetto. This is compliments of sir nuke on another site... http://www.protegeclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26624 VERY easy to do. modification I wouldn't bother witht he center tool, just pop out the md/cassette panel and use that to pull with.
