ok guys just a few ?s im turboing my mp3 right now im doing new main bearing and rod bearings rods and new 9.1 pistons , headgasket and a port and polished head i sent my stock mp3 ecu out and had it flash to a msp and also got the ss afc v2 do i need to know about any thing else like fuel cut and stuff like that before i get to far with this build. thank you for any help you can give me

Dude, you got an MP3 ECU flashed to MSP? Why did you not sell it for ~250$ and buy a 50$ P5 ECU and have that flashed? What a waste...

All your questions have been answered in multiple other turbo threads in this and other Proteg sections...

As stated my CulRidr, try the MSP section. Before any build you should research to no end. Find out all that you can. You will probably see fuel cut depending upon you boost levels and the weather. There is alot of knowledge over there on turbos under the search feature. My big question is how do you plan on cooling the charged air? This is key to the equation. Then you got the BOV/BPV debate and if you go BOV you need to relocate your MAF sensor. There is alot. Post what you have here and we can check over it for you, but please read into others builds too. Not trying to come off as a dick, trying to help a PA boy out.

BTW: Where are you in PA?

sorry it took so long im going with the hks bov and a 9,2.5,28 fmic only running 7 psi for now i have a tial 38mm wastegate and a jun proformence 50 trim turbo as i said i also have the msp ecu with the ss afc v2 new pistons, all new bearings, rods, fuel pump, injectors, head gasket all the rebuild s*** to make it easy.

tremont. My grandmother lives down in greencastle. I stop by there sometimes too.

get a standalone and forget the maf, especially if you have a built bottom end and PnP head....
