Help needed cx9

2008 CX-9 Grand Touring
Trying to replace passenger front CV Axle. I have experience with CV axles in the past. Changing carrier bearings on the passenger side. However, this looks like a 2 part axle, that the inner half is permanent. I am working on the ground with a floor jack. Tried pry bar. Ball joint splitter and maul. The axle has already separated..(pic). Is there anything that has to be unbolted on the carrier??

it comes out like any other FWD axle with an intermediate shaft... take a sledge hammer and beat it out... or tow the car to a shop and let the pros take care of it lol

it is supported by a bearing behind the engine, you need to unbolt it from the engine because it is probably stuck in the bearing holder. 3 bolts if i recall.
