are you on the stock turbo?

power wise, people blow it up at all different power levels. I ran 12 psi on the stock turbo for 6 thousands miles before building my engine (i did not throw a rod, it was just time to build it). 505zoom put quite a few miles on his stock engine at 277whp (12 psi on a gt28rs). I have read people blowing up there engine at low power levels as well. The stock rods are tiny, look around and you can find some pictures of them.

It is also a function of how you abuse your car. 505zoom didnt drive around for thousands of miles at WOT. Look around and see the zoom zoom boom threads, they make you think twice...

Seems a lot of Add ons for a stock block.
And yes...10 Psi is considered the "Safety Ceiling" even though there have been many to run higher with no problems..and those who run less and blow it to the high heavens.

where can i get a good short block with forge parts. I think the guy i got it form was planning on buliding the motor he put all that stuff and then some

protegegarage.com has some short blocks they are some of the best blocks around but im going to tell you that 2500 bucks its just the Down payment, so they could run higher than that.
