Hey all i got a 94 escort lx swapped with a dohc bp and I wanna boost. I was going to go with the vj20 setup but i knew i would want to upgrade later so why not do it now.
Horsepower numbers id like to see 300-350, on a $4k budget for a street car. My motor currently has 87,xxx org miles on it and 179psi in all cylinders.
So ive been shopping around for turbos and found a garrett t3to4e .57/.63 for cheap with no shaft play, comes with custom ram horn mani. Probably going to do the piping myself but have a questions about which size injectors to run, fuel pump, ignition system, oil pump, clutch, engine management and what to do about the beloved g-series trans! Go LSD or is it worth a swap?
Any and all help will be appropriated to help me more under stand more info on to get to my goals. Thanks guys
