I can't decide which one sounds better..!

Also these two fit the bill for my wallet. I love the Cobb but it's $729.99!

HKS - $499.99 shipped
Corksport - $489.99 shipped

corksport is not enough sound for my taste same with cobb but a little better than the cork. Hks has had a long loved sound for many years so i cant complain. I say save your money cause there is no performance gain or go turbo xs cause its the loudest and your essentially getting the most for what your buying.. SOUND

hope this helps by the way in my opinion if you dont have Downpipe or intake go for that first :)

I thought the corksport sounded nice in low to mids.. but I love how the HKS sounds at high revs.

IMO the GHL sounds SICK, but ive heard alot of people have had install issues so i decided against. my next decision was the HKS, but then again why not just spend the extra money for a TBE and do it all at once

still want to bring the car in if it has issues. Don't want to axe my warranty. CBE will do for now.

hks ftw i have an hks hi power exhaust and it sounds great get a testpipe or a downpipe n call it a day it will make it sound even better

if your that worried about warrenty, why not just wait intil its over and get exhaust? its going to be a PITA if your dealer says they wont touch cus of aftermarket, and you have to take it off and weld your stocker back on. not worth it to me. people are going to argue they have to prove the part caused the issue, but do you know how long you are delaying your fix? just make it easier on yourself and wait if warrenty is an issue.

I dont think HKS CBE was built with full stainles/Aluminzeds pipping, the pipes are made of steel which will rust. Thats why I didnt get that exhaust system. If you are looking for long run use without worrying about rust, I would choose a CBE that is fully stainless/Aluminized. Cobb and Corksport has full stainless/Aluminzed. If you are just about the sounds emitted by the exhaust, then choose whatever that is good to your ears. All of them practically serve the same purpose.

From the HKS website:

Hi-Power Exhaust

Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path.

For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. Certain applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler. Like Drager Exhaust systems, Hi-Power Exhaust systems are made from SUS304 stainless steel muffler and tip assemblies. Depending on the application, Hi-Power muffler tips are 96mm, 115mm and 120mm in diameter, piping diameter ranges from 55mm to 95mm. Special Edition HKS Carbon Titanium Hi-Power Exhaust systems are exclusively available for certain popular applications. These exclusive versions of the Hi-Power Exhaust consist of a carbon fiber wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping.

Huh???? Whats the point of this reply to my post? The one that is not Stainless im talking bout is the whole PIPPING! The muffler and tip are polished but the pipping for HKS is not. The pipping is the one made of steel. The other CObb and Cork are made all the way Stainless!

Haha its ok. I almost jump to HKS before, good thing my friend was helping me decide. he is actually the one notice its not stainless. I was lucky he saw it. So I just bought a slightly used MS CBE for 400 bucks shipped. Saved me alot of money on that.

My friends owns his own garage with a lift, so getting the stock exhaust back on shouldn't be too big of a problem, without cutting it out etc.

No problem. I did find out that the HKS CBE is actually ceramic coated, aluminized steel.

Each HKS Exhaust is vehicle specific. In some applications where multiple systems are offered, each system is even more specifically based on an applications level of tuning; e.g. Sport, Turbo, Drager, Hiper, and Racing systems, respectively, have increasing pipe diameter sizes and flow characteristics. Engine and chassis configurations are individually analyzed to ensure that each application is specifically tailored and not universalized. Each HKS system features high-quality mandrel bent, bake-coated aluminized steel piping, which allows for smooth consistent exhaust flow throughout the entire length of the system.

I really like the Cobb one, but for $725 I could have a HKS/Corksport or something in that price range + be halfway to a Street Unit TMIC! :)
