Help me decide? Corksport or HKS Hi-Power CBE?

Damn $725 for just a CBE is way to high... I cant make my hand to reach my wallet to buy a CBE that is $725.... I wonder if thats only an intro price that would go down more in future.

OP should check more clips on other CBEs out there if his concern is the sound output. Some of them sounded really good too that are not on his poll.

I've listened to them, but you know they only use a digital camera to record. Which makes it really hard to tell, that's why i'm asking those that may have had or gone through quite a few to find the right tone. I love the sound of the COBB, but can't justify $725 for it. The cork sounded great, but lost the growl on the top end. The HKS sounds pretty good to me, but is not SS.

This is what I saw from people's post before. If you change the mid pipe with aftermarket ones, any CBE would growl much louder. I'm not sure about that. But thats how they had said it. Me I prefer low db on my MS3 thats why I bought the MS CBE, but i can definetly here the growl on my CBE on low gears and high revs. I checked the video on the HKS, I think the Corksport have almost the same sound as that. Maybe it depends on the people taking the video. I also heard some video clips on my MS CBE to be louder.

But one thing to take note though the sound you hear on the video's are always louder from the actual real thing infront of you.

Atleast you dont have to buy an exhaust for a GTR, the Nismo system is $19K LOL

I have the HKS CBE and I have had NO complaints whatsoever from anyone who's ever heard/ridden/driven my car. As a matter of fact, I've gotten plenty of compliments ever since I got it. I actually got another a few days ago when I gave one of my bosses a ride in my car for the first time. She's completely car illiterate (she pedals a bicycle...which got stolen on the day I gave her the ride LOL!) but she knows what sounds awesome and what doesn't.
