HELP!!!!! Installing boost gauge and having problems with the radio

the radio won't turn on at all and whenever i turn the car on ACC the gauges do a sweeping action. has anyone experienced this? i have checked the passenger and main fuses and they seem to be fine. i'm out of clues and getting somewhat frustrated. please help if you have any suggestions!

take it out and start from scratch. it sounds like you may have tapped into an incorrect power source to me

we already removed the boost gauge to all power sources. also the map light and dome light wont work. also the light in the glove box won't work

With the key in ACC, nothing in the car works. When the key is turned to ON, the guages illuminate and do a gauge sweep, and everything turns on except the radio.

problem solved. Turned out to be a 15amp blown fuse for the interior lights, which coincidently took out all of the ACC.

Fuse was in the engine bay fuse box.

It was cool that the gauges did the sweep tho...

this was on my friends MS3, it was a prosport boost gauge in a ventpod.

cool, same thing i just installed. have any issues with it switching over the color? my dmn gauge did the opposite of what the instructions said so i had to modify the harness to get it to work right. during the day itd b red, and night id b white

it was getting late. we just wired the orange wire to the power wires and called it a day. So if he wants too, he can learn how to switch it, but for now its always going to be amber.
