Help in Iowa

I threw a rod and replaced the enigine w/ a 30k motor from protegegarage. I also added the joep manual boost controller and the turbohoses intake. the engine itself runs fine but it will not boost properly...as the boost pressure moves approaches the positive it cuts out/hesitates really bad. i have tried all possible adjustments with the controller and no setting changes the end result. I do have the forge adjustable actuator but that did not het messed with in the swap. i also noticed that my mileage has been reduced. I am at a loss here and any advice is welcome. If someone can recommend a tuner shop in the davenport iowa area that would also help...thanks.

i'm about 3 hours from davenport if you wanted to make the trip up. have you tried taking off the controller and driving with just the actuator? sounds like a vacuum leak or boost leak.

no, i was not able to trouble shoot as necessary. I needed to start the drive back to davenport from detroit shortly after picking the car up. Are you there on weekends?
