Take a picture!

where did it snap?

There is a 6mm hex inside the threads of the end link! Use a 6mm allen key to hold it from spinning (unless that's where it snapped)?

Put the car up on jack stands, take off the front wheel and get down inside the wheel well and take a look. There should be an allen wrench type of hole in the end of the stud, you just stick an allen wrench in there and use a wrench to loosen the nut. They are pretty easy to change. I have done both front and rear when I changed my swaybars and after having upgraded ones break. When replacing it don't buy a cheap knock off oem style endlink, make sure you either get an upgraded endlink or get the oem one from mazda. I have had trouble with the joint in oem style endlinks (not made by mazda) pulling apart on the rear of my car.

the best place i can explain where it snapped is right at the ball at the sway bar, you know where the four little studs stick out towards the back opposite of the nut, it broke completely in half. Anyway i should mention that ive already taken one off before but it was just such a PITA, i just wanted to know suggestions on a possible easier way to get the fkin thing off. Maybe i should stop being a b**** about it and just get it done, heh, thanks for the tips and suggestions guys.

your trying to take that off do u have a crow bar stick it diagnally in the spindle teeth turn until the bar hits ground thatll hold it so u can take da cv joint out but u shouldnt have to disassemble the whole thing jus for the endlink unless ur talkn balljoint for that u need a whole new control arm dealer wont sell just a endlink and if you need any parts holla at me i can get u what u need to replace for cheap oem parts.....if its da one im thinkn the one that helps turn the wheel that endlink then i jus got tuff vicegrips and twistd it out post pics wit out um i cant help u

I've had the OEM Mazda sway bar end links on my 2004 since new and never had a problem with them breaking (just shy of 200,000 kms).

I have racing beat sways both front and rear, and they have got to be pretty hard on the OEM end links, but I've never broken any of my 4 stock links!

I guess I'm just lucky!(yippy)(yippy)

I don't know what dealer you go to southendskin210 but the dealer I go to will sell you just about any part you want, I have already purchased rear MS3 endlinks from the dealer, I am sure that the dealer would have sold me the front ones also. This is how they make their money, not by selling cars, but by selling the replacement parts and service. I also have the racing beat front and rear sways and the racing beat front endlinks and MS3 rear end links now (after replacing the MS3 OEM knock offs that broke on me twice).
