2007 Mazda6 s,
Well, I asked this question to the general public of the Mazda board, but got no where.. so I figured I'd ask the people that have helped before.

I believe the Blower Motor Resistor has gone out in my Mazda6... however, I have no idea where I can pick up a replacement for it... and not to mention, where the hell it is on my car. As much as I've searched the forums for it, I cannot find anything about it... anywhere.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks

Go to Online Mazda Parts, then select your year and model. Next, go to HVAC, then Blower, then resistor. It's 13.78 for a non ATC (auto temp control) equipped car, or $51 for one with ATC.

I'm not sure where it installs, but it's not super expensive.

I would have to say it pops in some where under the dash, probably under the dash board or behind it? Steve, is there anywhere on line with service boards and diagrams with parts listings?

You'd probably have to pull the center stack out to get at it, but off hand I'm not 100% sure. Any access to the FSM would be a great help.

I'm searching around for the manuals online... I'm sure its right in front of my face. But that makes me feel a little better about it.. I just don't want to know how bad it would be to run this up to the Mazda dealer and get nailed for labor charges...

Alright, so I'm finding the resistor behind the glove compartment, and I was able to find a service manual online to verify that.

Thank you very much for the information you guys... hopefully I can get some a/c / heat going before Winter gets here... (so I've got a week..)
