Help! Changing Brake Light

Hello All,

I need to change a blown out brake light. I got as far as going in the hatchback, removing the 3 nuts & according to the Protege 5 manual this should release the
plastic cover protecting the lights (on the outside of the car). Here's where I need help! The Plastic cover wouldn't come off. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for any input.

It is probaby just stuck with the water and dirt from daily driving. Did you just pry it a bit with a non-marking tool. Otherwise, you are doing it right. (mswerd)
