Help CEL came on after putting on ractive header

lucky bastard(wiggle) i wish the mil had worked for me instead i had to pay meineke $56 for them to weld a bung on for me(ripoff i know but need it fixed in time for this weekands trip to chi-town)

as long as it's equal or thicker gauge, shouldn't matter

fwiw, the 1M ohm resistor works fine for me (450+ miles no CEL)

what I meant was the mil fix worked for me but I did plug it into the second bung (the OBX comes with two O2 bungs)

I didn't mean I just wired the mil fix and let it hang

you'll throw a CEL sometime between the first 50-100 miles otherwise

well i just got done wiring it back up. i ran the wire about an extra ft. i used like 12 gauge speaker wire to extend the wire. i used electric tape to wrap each individual solder point then i wrapped both ends about 6-7 inches. should i wrap the rest of the wire up with anything or will it be ok if it gets wet or what not. im gonna zip-tie the wires against sum non moving pieces away from the exhaust.

why will i get a cel if it's after the cat about 6 inches it was only about the same away from the original cat?

if you're after the cat it may be fine

try it without the mil fix for a while

yea you may want to wrap the whole thing in electrical tape so water doesn't get down into the connections

well after 20 miles no cel (only drove it to work this morning) i'll report back after another 50 miles or so.

Made my MIL eliminator at work today. Gonna try the non-foulers first though. Hopefully I'll get the damn header on tomorrow!
