Help a n00b out in buying his first MX-3?!

Hello everyone,

I recently found this MX-3 on craigslist. It looks like a really sweet deal and I wanted to see what other Mazda enthusiasts had to say about it. I am soon graduating high school and going off to college so I am going to need a car that is good on gas and reliable (and a little fun wouldn't hurt). This will be my first car so I need all the help I can get.

What do you all think of it? Are MX-3's pretty reliable? Also, how many more miles can this car go before it starts having serious engine trouble. I am going to be a poor college student living off of top ramen soup so I won't have any money to spare in fixing big issues on the car. Let me know what you all think!

Its hard to tell a cars condition by pics but only 93K for a 92? thats pretty damn good (unless the speedo was rolled back), its looks well...4000 well? im not to sure call the guy and tell him the bluebook value of the car in its condition and try to bargain the price a bit im on 200,000+ Kms and im still going strong but you could never tell what milage BIG expensive problems come up and alot on this car can EASILY be done by you if you attempt to learn the car...go to mx3.com they have TONS!!!!!!!! of stuff there also experts on the car!


and a plus about an mx-3 is you can put the KL-DE or KL-ZE in the car, its a direct drop in and go, plus and average of 50 ponies over the K8 (the engine in it now)
