^ One of my good friends, who owns an RX-7, needs our help. Anything we can do will be awesome. Above is the article. Scott is one of the nicest guys I know and I consider him to be a brother.
Cops showed up to his house with a tow truck to tow his RX-7, sitting in front of his house. They said the car was abandoned. Scott drives a ford escort in the winter so he doesn't beat the s*** out of the RX-7. He has babied it since day 1 and loves the car to death. Police say he jumped up and down on the top of it, why would anyone who loves their car destroy it? Also, the police say he was on foot when he got tazered and was in a fighting stance. Scott is about 5'10-6' tall. The tazer prongs entered his body at a 45 degree angle and had to be cut out. For a 45 degree angle, either Scott was getting shot down at (surrendering and complying on his knees), or the cop was shooting from the ground up, which is highly unlikely being there were 4 cops there. Scott was never read his maranda rights! In all the years I've known Scott he has never been violent and doesn't even have a traffic violation on his record. Coincidently in the cops favor, all the dash cams in the cruisers were turned off.
I can vouch for Scott and many of you will meet him at upcoming meets, that this officer was acting VERY harsh for the situation. Also, this officer has two investigations on him for using unnecessary force. Any comments I will pass along to Scott and any help offered, regardless of what it is, is much appreciated!
