Does anybody know of a good phone number, email address, website, discussion board, or magic spell to help with my ailing '83 RX-7? I've done a couple hours of searching on the internet but haven't found much good info.
About a week ago I noticed erratic engine performance while cruising on the freeway. It was kind of a pulsation or hesitation/surge feeling. Every day it seems to get a little worse. I have noticed that when the engine is cold (choke pulled out) everything seems okay. As soon as the choke releases the surging begins. It seems to get a little worse as the longer the engine runs. Initially I thought it was the fuel filter but after replacing it the problem persists. I'm thinking it's one of the air control valves . . . but which one. Also, I've already verified that the 5 (maybe 6) color coded solenoids are good.
