2003.5 MazdaSpeed Protege
Whatsup people. My name is Jay. I live in Jersey City. Just bought my msp a few weeks ago, so i'm looking to meet a few of the locals. Hopefully some modded msp's so i can get some first hand info. But also looking to meet some of the others as well like the p5s or the mp3s. I don't know much about the "other" mazdas except the rx7s. But i'm looking to learn. Well I've read some of the posts and i know where the dunkin donuts on 440 is. So i'm gonna try to pass by this weekend depending on the weather and if i get off my lazy ass. Let me know if any of you are free and wanna meet.

Welcome bro.

YOur lucky, NJ is becoming a mazda tuning hot spot!
There are certainly some cool people out your way.

We have the member diversity here that can inform you about any type of mazda for the most part.

I got the audio side of things and know a decent amount about the various modle proteges. Don't hesitate to ask.

(hi)

Welcome to the forum....you are not too far from me...i am in Kearny.

SHame you just missed the NJ/PA Meet...some mighty fine MSP's there!

Welcome. I am sure you will find a lot of good tips and good deals in this forum. I did.
Enjoy your MSP.(rockon)

Yeah, you just missed a meet on the 13th...I'll be posting my pictures in the 'Photo/Video' forum sometime soon. There were about 12 Protege's there, 4 of them MSP's. I'll be setting up another meet once winter's over, so check the Car Meets forum.

I'll see about the dunkin donuts too, but my car's a mess from the snowstorm yesterday. If I'm able to wash it before the weekend I"ll probably make it :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. So far I've seen an Orange msp and a black one around here. but they were both a few months back. Well lets hope the weather clears up by friday or saturday. I'm gonna try to check out the dunkin donuts crowd. Hopefully i'll see a few of you out there. Laters.

Welcome bro.

Jersey_emt: I'll help you setting up the meets, just ask. I helped alot on the maxima.org for setting up the meetings. So shouldnt be any problems here.

Cool....I was thinking about having the Yardley meet more often, but as a smaller 'fun run' sort of thing. I love driving that loop, I usually do it once or twice a month. It's actually more fun with less people, because you don't have to worry about people losing the group, and you can take things a bit faster. In November, we had 5 cars run the drive....and it was awesome.

Also, now that several people have done the drive a few times and know the route, I can finally be in the middle of the pack! It was cool leading the first meet (with around 20 cars) but I would like to be in the middle.

I'm looking for a large spot in the area where we can all meet. The Park & Ride isn't big enough or empty enough to get really good pictures, but it IS perfect for small 'fun run' meets. If anyone has any ideas, let me know! I want to organize a huge meet...with > 30 cars, food, etc. etc.

damn couldn't make it

Hey whatsup. Sorry to anyone who made it out to dunkin donuts. I work nights, and i was just too tired to make it out there. I had to get some sleep so that i could function at work. Which on weekends starts at 4 A.M. Hopefully if its clear then i'll go next friday.

The washing crossing park that you suggested early this year would be a great open spot, only down fall is it cost 1$ to get in..no real biggie though..

Is the place big? Im up for that. So lets start passing the word on about it. Do we have to get the permit in order to have a big car meet there? Can we get a reserved parking lot for our cars ONLY? How about BBQ on the spot?

Welcome We should have a mini meet sometime. I hate my job forced me to miss both meets. I want to meet jersey_emt he lives so god damn close! haha

I would like to have a monthly mini-meet at the Park & Ride in Yardley, PA....smaller groups makes the backroads drive a lot more fun :)

I thought you made it to one of the meets....I know someone with a silver MSP did...you're the only one I know with a silver.

Anyways, check the car meets forum for the Northeast/Midatlantic meet in New Brunswick, NJ in April.... :)

Did someone say SILVER msp

Damnit you mean they made more than one silver msp. THat Lying basturd... He told me they only made one SILVER MSP and mine was IT. hehe. Just kidding. But i do have to say that the silver looks the sexiest. But then it could just be me.
