Hello to everybody here, I am new to Mazdas and just purchased a 1996 Protege with 198K on the clock from a friend. It needs some minor body work, and has some rust from the Minnesota winters, but I couldn't beat the price I'm glad to be a part of your forum.

I will post pics as soon as I can, but in a cruel case of irony I hit a deer last night, and as a result I am going to end up rebuilding the front clip. So it won't be pretty... Yet. I have plans for this car.
