2008 CX9 Blue Mica GT w/moonroof, bose, nav & 101% satisfaction
recently got my GT. glad for making a right decision of choosing it over other make. love it.

just dropping a msg to say...hello! (dance)

congrats! I think you will be very happy with it for a long time to come.

I just picked my new CX-9 on Saturday, and got back from a road trip tonight and was pleasantly surprised to find out that we got 21.6 mpg, what a change from the 13-14 in my Denali that we traded in.

that's very encouraging to hear, Kiko!
if everything falls into place, I'm getting a 2009 Sport next week.

Looks like I have jumped on the bandwagon... Just picked up an 08 FWD Touring this weekend. Only problem is that it is my wife's car and not mine!

I definatley made the right decision, I love how it drives.

I think I'm one of the few guys on here who actually gets the CX-9 as my daily driver. My excuse to the wife as to why I should be the one driving it is because she drives more and it gets worse gas mileage than the car. Anyone else tried this logic?

No, but I like the way you think.(rei)

I should be joining you soon, though, Vike. When we get the Sport (hopefully by the weekend), I'll be the primary driver, as it's replacing my older car and my wife loves her Camry.
She is chipping in on the payments and insurance, however, because the kids will also drive the CX-9 when they get permits/licenses.
So I guess I'll let her drive it once in a while, too -- especially if she uses some of that logic of yours on me.

My late welcome to you, kikomatsin.
One of the reasons I like about CX9 is that it is reasonably rare, unlike Pilot and Highlander.
I love to park mine next to one of those to show them what they have missed.

sound reasoning, no doubt. my wife made a brief effort to scoop the 9, but I shut that down REAL quick. I told her the last new car was hers... this one was all mine. :-D

Nice. You just gave me backup if she ever tries to make it her daily driver. She also got to drive the last new car we bought.
