Hella 500 Foglights On P5

So has anyone done this yet. I have seen some of hte piaas but no hellas. I measured them the hella and the stock and it should fit. I had a 2 sets of driving and 1 set of fogs on my Jeep. The things are bright as hell...a. Or they have a pretty good looking free form design that I think would look good with the headlights but not sure if they will fit. Alright guys let's hear it. I am thinking about the fogs not the driving. The diving would blind everybody on the road. I actually used to use them as my headlights until I got the hella conversion headlights on the jeep. Plus they are only $55 for the whole kit. If I wasn't going HID I would consider the driving lights but just wanna know everybodies opinions.

DO it! I considered the Hellas as an alternative to the piaas. I will definately want to see pics/ Does the hellas have a soft cover?

well it isn't really a soft cover it is hard plastic that clips to the light but the plastic is thin enough to be bent. think I got a project for the weekend now.

You can't lose with Hella ,their products are impressive.I recently had a Hella dualtone air horn installed (I wan't to use it soooo bad but now nobody seems to be cutting me off :( ).Getting back to subject ,I wan't to replace my fogs with driving lights,I was looking at PIAA ,but I think I might go with Hella now ,keep us updated with your project.

wasap funwagon! euro euro euro hehe do it!

Well here is an UPDATE , They don't fit. I tried both the hella 500 and the FF 200 . The brackets will not allow for proper installation. And I am not paying $100 for foglights that can't be mounted correctly for their beam pattern to work. Oh well time to search for some Catz or PIAA. Sorry if I got any of you excited about this but I am as disappointed as you are. Not saying you couldn't hack your front end up to make them work but that is not something I am going to do. Oh well.
