Heat Shield

I have a quick question. Is it ok to remove the heat shield from the manifold and down pipe? Both are rusted out and just hanging on.

I don't see why not. It's mostly there to protect ufrom getting burned

It's fine...mine came off when I installed my OBX header, and unless you're parking in tall, parched grass, you will be fine.
