Headliner / pillars ?

ok so for more exact directions rather than just "pulling" them off. This will make everyones life easier if your taking off the pillars. the front pillars need to be slid upwards because there on little rail type clips. 2nd the middle pillars you need to unbold the seatbelts from the pillars than those "pop" off. 3rd the rear pillar covers have a little square in the middle of them that say "srs airbag" pop that cover off unscrew the bolt thats in there holding them on and than pop off. and there is NO worry about them so if you have any other questions let me know.

LOL! BELIEVE ME MAN IT IS ALONG WAY FROM BEING PERFECT BUT IF YOU DONT WANT CREASES IN IT YOU NEED LIKE 3 or 4 GUYS HELPING YOU CAUSE YOU NEED TO KEEP THE FABRIC TENSIONED AT ALL TIMES AND GO SECTION AT A TIME, 1 PERSON GLUES, 2 PEOPLE KEEP Tension, AND ANOTHER PERSON PRESSES DOWN FABRIC, ITS A PAIN!!!!

this is the most random thing ive seen done to a MS6.. looks kinda funky.. definetly unique and u wont another MS6 out there with the same headliner print.. not my style.. i was thinking of doing mine in Black.. what did it cost you guys to get it done..??

The airbags wont deploy when you remove the pillars, nor will they when you remove the headliner.
Although that can be on the plus side...... getting the headliner OUT is the tricky part lol

I ended up reupholstering my pillars to grey suede, and my headliner to a black ultra suede, and ill tell you right now..... its one hell of a lot of work, but it looks great in the end.
All my pics are on my facebook if u want to see the project, see how it turned out,a nd get an idea of what it will look like.

if anyone is still in need of the info on how to remove the headliner...here you go:
when you pop out the pillars you need to take off the sun visors. you do that by unscrewing the screw from the "hinge" part of the visor n unplugging the mirror light wire harness. the clip for the visor is a little tricky cuz it has a clip going inside the roof. i used two flathead screwdrivers to hold each side of the clip back n it should come out after some moderate yanking. next i removed the dome lights. theyre held in by two metal clips in the front n the back. since i didnt care about scratching the stock headliner i just pried a flathead under the clip n pushed it in. the other side gave in easy after that. just unplug the wire harness n you're set. do the same for the back. next i got rid of the holy s*** handles. theyre held in by wedged plastic clips in the roof. i used a little flathead to pop the clips out..there is actually a little slot for a screwdriver to fit under the clip. take all three of em out n then youre on for the last part...the three clips in the rear of the headliner. they were the easyest to remove. since mine is a hatch i also had to disconect the rear window wiper fluid hose which had a connector in the back but the front i had to cut...i just bought another connector from advanced. then pop the hatch n i had some extra hands to help me remove the headliner board out of the car without damaging it. n there you go..you got a race-car look. all you need is a helmet.
