It can be very frustrating trying to put the H7 bulb back, that spring is hard to put back. Here is the procedure from the owners manual. You just have to see how it works, once you figure it out it should not take you too long to get that spring back.

Use 90 degree needle nose pliers!

I've done this using just a regular set of needle-noses as well.

There is a bit of a twisting action involved... almost the opposite of what you would think.

I went to Advanced Auto and the clerk installed it for me. That's the easy way. He didn't use any pliers, not that I cared.

Changing the low beams makes changing the high beams super exciting since the 9005 are super easy. I'd have killed for some 9006's for the lows or a less retarded retaining clip!
