I'm running two amps, 1 x 4 channels, 1 x 2 channels bridged, 2 alpine 300 rms 10" subs...I ran the wires in such a way that I'm getting a 1 ohm load from the 2 channel amp...I also have a 1 farad capacitor installed before it reaches both amps. The problem is, when I turn the volume up, my headlights dim and the dash board light flickers in accordance with the bass. My brother-in-law suggested that I change the alternator. Is there any other solutions? It's a 2003.5 mazdaspeed protege.
