I dont' think the Ractive will work on an auto.

Works for me. There was some rattle(oilpan) initially, but once I installed my midpipe, things moved around enough to give it the clearance it needed.

The only downside to the Ractive, is it only has 1 o2 bung.

Agreed. But getting the MAM midpipe with the bung you just extend the O2 wires and mount the second O2 there. 1.5 years without a C.E.L.

Right on! Except, they forgot to send me one with a bung. So I'm just running without it.

Haha, guess not. I read somewhere on this forum that they're not that bad. People have them installed on their proteges. I guess just do a search like I am about to do.

(Edit: Done, I found the thread I was looking for plus more. In this thread (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123619158&page=3&highlight=tsudo+header) there were good comments about it. In another, one person mentioned the welds looked crappy. But, you'll just have to search and decide on it yourself I guess. If it helps, I'm thinking of getting it. It comes with the second bung is already done for you and the price is great.)

i have a tsudo header coming in. got tired of trying to hunt down OBX and other one's. i'll make a post on it when it's in. i'm going to wrap and coat mine though so i'm not sure how different of performance it'll be from the header as is.

What ever header you find I HIGHLY suggest you spend the money and have it ceramic coated. Other wise it will rust from the inside out and then you wasted your money and have to get another header.

www.jet-hot.com

Apex Motor Sports in Arizona has OBX headers available.

I don't see how it's "CARB exempt" when it deletes one of the factory cats!

How is the so called 1st cat on the oem exh manifold any different than the space immediately after the spot where all 4 tubes come together on the OBX header where the 1st o2 sensor is? That is all it is on the oem. One is cast iron & one is stainless, one is ugly & one is not are the only differences I can see. Please elaborate.............

because you're REMOVING a cat from a specifically designed location for proper, LEGAL emission levels... you're also relegating the primary cat function to the one under the car

installing headers are ILLEGAL, so read the laws before you post anything more
