Head light replacement parts??

can you buy the clear casing for the headlights because i have the blacked out headlights and original clear casing is all yellow and scratched to hell thinking of either geting new/ used headlights or repalce the casings??? any idea currently in iraq so cant really check auto zone.

I don't know if you can buy just the lens, but I have seen some pretty nasty looking headlights come really clean with headlight restore kits, which basically just wetsand the headlight.

The headlights are made by Stanley, the whole assembly. The lens itself has a part # on it, I might try to call Stanley and ask if I could order just the left and right lens.

Here are the Stanley part numbers for the headlight lenses:

Passenger side - P1557R
Driver side - P1557L

I sent Stanley's assembly department an email to see how much the lenses will cost. I figure they might be a little pricey but definitely cheaper than factory headlights.

haha so after talking about all the head lights and stuff i had an accident this morning only smashing my driver side headlight can cracking my bumper. still let me know on the casings.

I just got off the phone with them and unfortunately the front lens can't be ordered separately because Stanley doesn't own the molds, Mazda does.

So FML, looks like it's Ebay headlights then swapping those lenses for the factory ones eventually.

Ebay is damn expensive for these headlights, however, Certifit sells them for $110 each which isn't bad at all.

But I don't wanna risk the front lens not fitting with the painted P5 bezel.

they fit, i switched my brothers stock sedan headlight plastics into my headlights cuz they were clearer
they are both the exact same

Cool, so even the mounting locations for the bezel are the same? There are two bolts inside the lens for the P5 bezel, not sure if the sedan is the same or not.
