Need some opinions here.
The head gasket blew on my 2.0L 626. I tore the head off and supposedly the washers did not come out with the bolts. I brought the head to the machine shop, they cleaned, pressure checked and shaved the head. I am assuming the washers fell out when it was cleaned. The machine shop never mentioned anything to me nor did the provide the wsahers that fell out. I luckily stopped installing the head when the bolt heads didn't look to line up perfectly with the head holes. The only place I can seem to get these is from Mazda.
Would it hurt if I took the one washer I have found in the head to the local hardware and matched it up the best I could, or should I just wait the week and get the correct washers from Mazda?
