Have you tried to tint your front side windows yourself?

Getting ready for summer so on ebay ordered custom fit windshileld sun shade for $19 and custom fit 35% tint for front side windows for $15. Its been forever since I tried to install window tint.

Have you personally installed front side window tint on CX-5 yourself and how did it turn out?

If you are just going to tint the front two windows, you may be better off just going to a tint specialist. I can't imagine it would have been more than $50-$60 for those two windows.

Cost is closer to $90 in higher cost urban areas, IMHO it's worth it to have it done right.

BTW what is a good tint choice to block the UV but not be too dark that the police issue a ticket? Also on the factory tinted windows does anyone know if that tint also blocks UV or is it just dark?
