have to sell my baby

Well I have a problem, My wife just had a baby and I need to sell my car, I just don't feel right having two cars and my wife driving a beat up 96 minivan. So I need to sell my 2001 mp3 it only has 41000 miles!!! ugh!!! I still owe a bit of money on it, nut I need to get something I looked online at kbb and they said it was only worth 8k which really hurts, I think its worth more but any way it has a body kit, cf hood and wing, gauge cluster under the stereo, yellow dash and interior trim. 18in rims and toy tires the rims r a little chewd though, damn dealership and their airguns! I also have a 10in sub and 1000 watt mtx amp, and two powercaps. I was just wondering what i should ask for to sell it. I really don't want to trade it in at a dealership to get my wife a new van, because I know they wont gie me crap for it. Need help.

wrap your current loan with the loan on the wife's car and you can keep your car.

If you have stock parts, put them back on and part out. Depends on when you need the money too, but I'd say ask for 9800-10k w/upgrades. Just leave room for negotiation.

well I was able to talk my wife into keeping my car the problem was we were trying to save money by still only having one payment I don't owe anything on my wifes van, but we just didn't want another payment on top of the other two car payments. I love this car so I had to just talk my way around it. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the info, but I'm gonna keep it I think I'll just wait till spring and buy my wife a new car, and trade in my rat, and her van. And when winter comes I'll just get a new rat.
