I'm surprised a site this big hasn't figured out that you're just rolling out the welcome mat to spammers if you enable posting links for users with < 10 posts. It's a really simple thing to setup in vbulletin, which this forum is running on.

Not really, they never log in or contribute. @helbigtw is the only one I've ever seen post and the last one was something like a month ago. I am going to apply for being one, and hopefully they overlook the fact that I don't have the requisite year membership, as I've contributed and check this thing every day. The fact that @mentions don't work is completely annoying too (i.e. you could directly tag a moderator or any user to a post). I contacted @antoine about it and he was interested, but is working on a side project now with a new forum back end, so I don't know if he really cares about this site anymore. It's a simple VBulletin plug in that could be added to the site to give a lot more features (Like mazda6club has)

Yes! I forgot about Helbigtw. We do need some active mods for our section. This forum does see a much higher amount of spam then others im on. But it is the only CX9 forum around.
