Hate Cancer? Me too. What are you going to do?

Hi all.

Normally I'm against public fundraising appeals, but I'm nowhere near my goal this year and I want to at least equal my effort from last year.

Every year I participate in the Relay for Life, benefiting cancer research. I'm personally affected by this disease, as several of my family members have both survived and succumbed. My mother, in addition to being one of the toughest women on the planet at age 58, is a three time cancer survivor. My aunt has also survived twice. I myself bear the scars on my body from having pre-cancerous spots removed.

This year's relay is two days from now, on Saturday, and I'd appreciate your help. This cause is so important, and close to my heart. So much so, that I'm willing to publically humiliate myself, wear pink, and carry around flamingos all day.. We all know plastic flamingos are serious business.

Thanks for doing this Sean! My Dad is a cancer survivor and my sis is currently dealing with breast cancer, and I've lost my maternal grandmother to cancer, as well as several great aunts - scary stuff. Any little bit does help fund research!!!
