i make alot of money doin what i do money really isnt an issue. this car i bought just to mess with. i have my jeeps, street rods, bikes, trucks whatever. 4 car garage still aint enough.. lol im a down to earth guy.. but i do take pride in what i do because i dont let shops do my stuff, i do everything my self (except the alarm and monitoring system). i take great pride in detail where others fail and lack. i will get some pics of the car and post them soon. i am goin to do a whole gallery and all with the turbo and crap dont worry. im not goin to go into detail with the electronics, its to much to type, its just basically a very very very sofisticated alarm that has many diff interfaces.

Why is it lately everyone is getting on each other nerves and such.

He simply stated the cost of the turbo on his car in response to a question and then what else is needed. His point was that currently you will at times need to spend a good sum of money. Some people are often under the illusion that turboing a N/A car is simple as swaping a kit on and no real money invested. Fact is some extra money will be need at time of install and further down the road perhaps.

well I am loooking forward to seeing both deckedout's car and pirana's when they have their kits done and to see some final numbers. Especially if either of you guys are goin with any of the stage X parts and how much boost and hp at the wheels you plan on pushing. I know decked said 350(which is a hella lot in a small p5) what about you priana?

Eventually I would like to go the forced induction route, push about 220-250hp safely with some reinforced internals and upgraded fuel and engine management systems. HiBoost is probably the direction I will go after having compared it to spool, fm and so forth. But that is my opinion.

O.K. just came from the dyno for a baseline and the car put 102 to the wheels with some weird ups and downs. I would like to have around 170-180 whp. That would satisfy me. Maybe push it up during test or track runs, but for everyday driving good enough.

By the way, changed my mind on the polish manifold and is going to be ceramic coated black with the turbine housing polished.

pirana, what boost you running? 4? i know with the auto your whp will be considerably lower then a mt. but you should be at about 165 with about 6 psi.

i will go to the dyno before and after myself to monitor my actual gain gap instead of based numbers. post pics man i wanna see!

no man, this is just the baseline. Iam still waiting for my manifold and dp to be coated. I wish it was installed already. ALso need to set up something for an autometer egt probe.

yes egt is VERY needed... put it on the runner and your leanest cyl. ebay has them 119 with probe. fuel pressure is a concern too. i have that, i have every gauge youd ever want 7 incab and 4 in the engine bay, i like to know whats goin on with my shiz... its sad though with no boost, the vac goes up hits 0 and dont go any further hehe.

take out your NOS gauge pop in egt...

I should have an in-cabin fuel pressure gauges soon to accompany my Wideband, but that still leaves my steering column pod empty. I wonder what I will put in there? Oil pressure? EGT?

I am really interested as to how this kit stacks up to the rest, because I remember when it was first introduced onto this site, it was not welcomed to warmly, mostly people nit-picking flaws in the kit, it will be great to see it actualy perform at its best
