Maybe someone could help me set this up. I bought a joepmbc about a year ago and installed it like it was suppose to. this year i bought hardopipes and a blow off valve i am wondering if i need to route the mbc a different wasy to increase the boost. I have a fcd also so i can increase safely. if someone could help that would be great thanks(scratch)

Having a FCD does not make it safer to increase boost. If anything it makes it more dangerous. Fuel/Spark Cut is there as a precaution to protect your engine when MAF voltage has been exceeded. An FCD removes this protection.

Yup, definitely get at least some fuel management if you are using a FCD. Your motor will thank you.

What exactly do you need help with though?... is the MBC not working or something?

What are you trying to raise the boost to? What other mods do you have on the car?

thanks for the replys guys i got a email from Joe Pampena about the mbc which he cleared some stuff up for me ill also get some more fuel management. All i have right now on the car is a injen CAI, FCD,MBC, and Hardpipes with a hks blowoff valve. I was thinking next would be a upgraded intercooler and fuel management system. Any thing you guys think would make my car better im all ears.?

seems like you're on the right track. definitely get rid of the FCD and lower your boost to around ~6 so that your engine won't go, until you get some sort of fuel, or preferably, engine management. also, you're not stalling with the blowoff valve alone? or are you running dual bov/bpv?

Those sound like some very smart upgrades, next after that would be a full exhaust and you'd be set or at the very least replace the mid pipe (catted section).

nope its not stalling its just a HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve and i bought it off a website online ill look around and post it on here for anyone who is interested. No stalling at all and it sound really good.

Get a downpipe and aftermarket exhaust. Those cats are a bottleneck and the car will respond better w/o them. EMS is a wise choice as well. An upgraded SMIC or FMIC will definitely be an improvement over the stock SMIC which simply doesn't cut it as far as heatsoak goes. Definetly my favorite mod!

I looked through all the websites i had in my favorites to find the hardpipes I am almost positive i got them from www.**********.com for the one reason that in this picture: http://www.streetunitpics.com/**********-com/engine_bay_14
that car has the same exact hardpipes as me just a different blow off valve. Couldn't find them on the site so you might have to contact them to see if they sell them or where that guy got his from.
