Well I finally got me Byhondspeed hardpipes. (2thumbs) At first I only installed the turbo to IC pipe. It made a nice difference. Boost holds about .5-1psi higher through the rpms and the gobble-turk sound is completely gone. I am running a forge bov and have always had an annoyence with the gobble-pssst sound it made, now it is considerably louder, more of a sharp sounding pst and no turk. The rpms also do not drop as low after venting. I drove the car for a day with just the turbo-IC pipe and then installed the second IC to TB pipe. To my surprise there was no performance increase from the IC to TB pipe. The installation was a real pain in the ass, but it looks pretty good. (the turbo to ic pipe is easy) If I were to do it again I think I would only order the turbo to IC pipe.
Anyways, I know a lot of you guys hate the turk, so thats my way of taking care of it. I am yet to put the stock bpv back in place, but when I go to get an oil change later on next week I will let you guys know how it sounds.
