So am I strange that I like my beers little above room temp? Well let me rephrase since we all know I'm strange. Is it wrong to like a beer above room temp (ie not cold *yuck*, and not slightly cold but instead kinda of warm)

Jersey: A beer guy, huh?! Excellent! Have you been out to my website? Many people have this thing in their head, that beer should be served ice cold. Flavor is lost this way. I like IPA's and Pale Ales between 45-50, typically. Stouts / Porters closer to 50 - 50+. Pretty much the same for Belgian ales. Barleywines - 50++. Everything else falls in between, depending on what it is. There are some good guidelines on the internet.

IPAs are certainly one of my favorites. I am a Hophead.

Oh...and don't forget about black and reds (Guinness on top of Killians)...that's a good combo.

Hell Yes!! I interviewed Sam Caligione (owner of Dogfish Head) on my show a few weeks back. He sent me beers, and they are Great!! Dogfish Head is actually the fastest growing craft brewery in the country right now!! (thumb)
