hankook vs. kumho

so...i can't decide on wheels just yet, but i do need new tires badly. i just had to put a spare on till i could get a used tire the other day. i noticed that the used tire i bought is wider than the other tires even though the sizes are the same: 205/50/16. being that this is common depending on the brand, does anyone know the difference between the hankook h106 and the kumho ecsta ast? and which would be a better tire for some sprinted driving, but mostly daily driving?
