i was just discussing w/ someone on another forum how GREAT my car is (i'm not being sarcastic). ne way, can the MSP outhandle the TSX ? and if i raced a bone-stock one, who would win ?

as nice as the TSX is, I think its woefully underpowered. I do believe Car and Driver said that the Mazda6 was light years ahead of it performance wise, so I don't think the MSP would have any trouble with it.

As for the handling aspect. SCC says its the best handling front driver tested. All the other mags loved the handling of the msp. I don't think you'll have a problem with the tsx.

that's what i'm thinking, too.

somebody said on this forum that the MSP can outhandle porsches and the like...i don't knoe who, but i'll do a search. but yeah, u think that's true ?

It was in a mag, one of them said that the msp posted a better time than a 911 turbo i think it was. I'm not sure who said that though.

of course...

ne one knoe which magazine quoted that thO ?

All I remember is that is was 1 mph below the Corvette Z06 and the Viper, and it was better than the Ferrari 535 (i think that is the new number). I can double check but I think it was high 60's in the 600 ft slalum.

TSX is an awesome handler and will post better times then a 6 around a track.

Besides on a race track its 10% car 90?% driver.

road and track, and it was the 8 best handling cars of 2001. it was a mp3

It tied the 911 Turbo for slalom. 1st place or 2nd I think. i still have the article home. Did well in other tests as well.

When it comes down to it, it's all driver.

Besides, the TSX is a more upscale, heavier, more luxury-oriented FWD sedan.

Can your MSP beat a Maxima?

Road and track tested the MP3 several times concluding that it would out slalom a Z06, 355, and 911 turbo. The only car it lost to was the elise, which wasn't availible at the time in the states.

Yes, My family has a 02 Max, its heavy and has body roll like nobodys business, its a damn boat, no doubt faster than a stock MSP but only in a straight line

I have that mag ( road n track) right in front of me. Who wants to know what from it. Here is some info:

Hairpin turn:
Apex speed 35.2 Porsche 911Turbo 35.1
Corner Entry Speed 49.6 46.2
Salalom 70.2 70.2

Interesting....and this is on an MP3, and we can easlily take those lame :D cars.

well lets do a little more of a fair comparison...

an integ type r stock vs msp stock...handling wise who do u think would win? (jus say its the same driver in both cars)

Sport Compact Car said the MSP de-throned the ITR in their review of the MSP as the new front wheel drive handling king...
